Most of our patients are traveling from abroad, and to make your experience easier, please read the following important information.
TRANSPORTATION and TRAVEL NEEDS:
We want your entire Plastic Surgery Journey to be a wonderful stress free experience from beginning to end. For your convenience and safety our chauffeur and van will pick you up at the San Diego airport, train station, bus terminal or San Ysidro border. A simple phone call to us will take care of your transportation needs while you are here in our care.
DOCUMENTS NEEDED WHEN TRAVELING OUT OF YOUR COUNTRY:
In order to travel across the Border, it is strongly recommended to bring your Passport and proof of citizenship, according to the Department of Homeland Security. To learn more about the authorized documentation, please visit: http://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en.html
MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
It is important to notify your bank that you will be out of the country in the event that you may need to use your credit card or an ATM for cash withdrawals.
Also to minimize your expenses contact your cell phone server and ask about any international plans or request a special roaming rate, otherwise you will receive very high per minute roaming charges.
Dr. Carmina highly recommends that her patients stay in our Beauty Care Recovery House. However, if you have family or friends that are accompanying you, for your convenience we also have special rates at Hotel Lucerna and Hotel Baja Inn, see below. Our staff can help you make the arrangements if needed.
