Graduated from the School de Medicine at the University of Guadalajara (UDG) in 1996.

Dr. Cardenas completed her residency and graduated with honors from the Mexican Institute of Social Security, at the Hospital of Specialties in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (IMSS). She was honored to become the first woman to receive the title of Chief of Residents.

Active member of the Mexican Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery (AMCPER).

Dr. Cardenas is Board Certified by the Mexican Council of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery (CMCPER).

Active member of the Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Baja California (CCPERBC).

Member of the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery (FILACP).

Member of the San Diego Plastic Society (SDPSS).

Member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).”

Dr. Eugenio Leyva graduated with Honors from the University of Baja California (UABC), receiving his Medical Degree in 1999 under Lic. #3661229.

He completed his specialty in Anesthesia at Centro Medico de Occidente (IMSS,) in 2003 he became Board Certified by the Mexican Council of Anesthesiology.

Work Experience
In 2003 he worked as Chief Anesthesiologist at the General Hospital from the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS).

Since 2005 Dr. Leyva has been working in the area of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with Dr. Carmina Cardenas as part of the Beauty Enhance team.

Annually, Dr. Leyva gives conferences at the Mexican Federation of Anesthesiology (FMCA), and continues studying, keeping himself up to date with the latest technology in all areas of anesthesiology. He completes 4 courses every three years at the European Federation of Anesthesiology (CEEA).
